The Henry Big Boy Steel Side Gate allows you to pair your trusty pistol cartridge with that of your preferred lever action platform. With a traditional appearance this pistol caliber lever action rifle can be used for plinking, hunting, or anything in between. The best feature of this new series is the fact that you can top off the magazine tube with the use of the well-placed side loading gate. The gorgeous American Walnut stock and black solid rubber recoil pad soak up the minimal recoil produced by this pistol caliber rifle. The steel barrel and action feature a nice blued finish and you will notice that a round barrel profile is used to keep the overall weight of the platform down. The adjustable Semi-Buckhorn rear sight and brass beaded front sight provide you with an excellent quick acquisition sight picture. Should you decide to add an optic the receiver is drilled and tapped and will accept a BB-RSM scope mount type which is sold separately.
